Cam is a veterinary assistant with a diverse background in animal care. She has two years of experience in general practice and previously spent seven years working as a zookeeper, caring for a wide range of species including mammals, reptiles, and marine life. Cam is currently pursuing her Associate’s degree in Veterinary Technology and has a strong skill set in animal restraint, anesthesia monitoring, and client communication.

In her role, Cam assists doctors with diagnostic testing, medication administration, anesthesia, and patient care, while also helping educate pet owners and ensure a smooth experience for both pets and their families. She especially enjoys working with patients in areas like anesthesia and radiology, and values building meaningful relationships with clients, patients, and his team.
Cam is inspired by her family and by the opportunity to care for animals who cannot speak for themselves. Her long-term goal is to become a veterinarian and open her own small animal or exotic practice.

Outside of work, Cam has a full house with 19 animals and enjoys reading, art, and spending time with her family as they build their farm. A fun fact: she is classically trained in opera and once considered becoming an opera singer.
